SAFMAR Charitable Foundation

Non-profit charitable organisation SAFMAR Charitable Foundation was established on September 16, 2013.

The Foundation was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow under registration No. 7714014272. Founder of the Foundation is JSC NK RussNeft.

Chairman of the Board of SAFMAR Charitable Foundation is Mikhail Gutseriev. Director of the Foundation is Larisa Kalacheva.

Foundation activities are supported by JSC NK Russneft, OJSC Neftisa, OJSC Russian Coal, CJSC Inteco, PJSC Mospromstroy, PJSC B&N BANK, CJSC ForteInvest, CJSC Electrosnabsbyt, PJSC Avgur-estate, JSC A 101 Development.

SAFMAR Charitable Foundation was established to carry out socially important long-term projects in culture, arts, education, and enlightenment. Foundation programmes comply with the principles of transparency, strategic precision, and consistency of implementation.

Foundation activities are governed by the Board of the Foundation, Management Board and Audit Committee. SAFMAR Charitable Foundation is part of Donors’ Forum, non-profit partnership of granting organizations, which unites Russia’s largest charitable foundations. Members of Donors’ Forum participate in the development of charitable community in Russia, promotion of better philanthropic practices.

Objectives of the Foundation
  • assist development of education, science, culture, arts, enlightenment, personal spiritual development;
  • assist social support and protection of citizens, social rehabilitation of disabled people and veterans;
  • help preventive care and health care, as well as promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
  • participate in ecological programmes and initiatives for environment protection.
